Join us on a very special farm: La Pata Caliente is known for its chili pepper cultivation and its ducks – a weekend full of sensory experiences, hands-on learning, and wonderful fellowship awaits you.
What to expect
A variety of projects are available on the farm:
🌶️ Processing chili peppers – roasting, drying, fermenting, and canning
🌳 Planting new hedges and installing an irrigation system
🥬 Preparing the self-sufficient garden for winter (including green manure)
Getting there
The nearest train stations are Wiesenburg (Mark), about 18 km away, or Zerbst, about 21 km away. A car is available for pick-ups – just contact Nikki if you need a ride.
Accommodation
There are 8 beds available in the house. Camping is possible, and there is also ample parking on the farm. A shared bathroom with a shower and bathtub is available in the house, as well as a composting toilet for everyone.
Surroundings
Zerbst and Wiesenburg are nearby and waiting to be explored, plus plenty of forest and meadows right on the doorstep – perfect for a leisurely stroll.
Evenings on the Farm
Cozy game nights are on the agenda – and anyone who plays an instrument is welcome to bring it along for some live music in the evening!
Education & Exchange
There will be a presentation on the topic of soil moisture.
