Since 1992, WWOOF Germany has been committed as a non-profit association to organic farming, environmental awareness, and communities based on solidarity. To achieve these goals, we facilitate educational stays on organic farms, promote cultural exchange, and raise awareness for sustainable lifestyles through events and public relations work. Why Donate?
WWOOF Germany is funded primarily through membership fees and donations. These funds help us remain independent and continue our work. Your donation, for example, enables:
- With 30 euros, you support us in hosting a webinar for newcomers on the topic of WWOOFing.
- With 60 euros, you finance the inclusion of a new farm in our network.
- With 100 euros, you cover the participation fee for one person at a WWOOF meeting, enabling hands-on environmental education.
- With 250 euros, you secure the operation and further development of the wwoof.de platform for one week.
- With 500 euros, you make a one-day workshop on topics such as preserving heritage plant varieties and livestock breeds possible.
WWOOF Germany is a non-profit organization. Your donation is tax-deductible.

Will I receive a donation receipt?
For donations under 300 euros, a simplified confirmation of donation and a copy of the corresponding bank statement are sufficient as a donation receipt. If you need an official certificate, please feel free to contact fundraising@wwoof.de!
How is my donation used?
The non-profit association WWOOF Germany is funded primarily through membership fees and donations. Every donation helps us maintain our core operations and fulfill our mission of facilitating encounters and learning experiences on organic farms via the WWOOF farm list, adhering to the highest quality standards. Building on this, we are able to offer further exchange and training opportunities, such as events, thematic workshops, and online formats. By maintaining close contact with participating farms and addressing the concerns of all stakeholders individually, your donation supports the development of a healthy network. At the same time, many small donations serve as a financial pillar for the association, helping us remain independent. You can find the current annual and financial report on our Transparency page.
